Hughes Design built a new deck and did some sidewalk repair for me. The quality of the work was excellent and the price reasonable. He and his co-workers were honest and trustworthy. I felt totally comfortable having them in my home. My deck is beautiful. It is not often you find a reputable contractor. I plan to call them again for future projects for sure!

Where do I begin. When you take a company like this, founded by a man who came from absolutely nothing. You get honest and quality work. Payton and his team are punctual, efficient, effective, skilled, fair, and would recommend any of their broad areas of skill, for any type of work you might need. I have used this company for multiple renovations, as well as preventative maintenance and I’m very pleased.

My mother, grandfather and grandmother all did business with Hughes Design and Construction and each of them were left just the same — extremely happy, totally satisfied by the work, super appreciative of how responsive and professional Payton is as well as explaining every part of the process so they understood exactly what was happening to their property. They have all recommended HD&C to multiple people and they are the first company I recommend when I see someone in need of any work on their home. Payton Hughes is the honest, hardworking and thorough person you want to trust with your home!

Payton and the team are wonderful. They showed up on time and their work is nothing less than excellent. Not only does their team display immaculate professionalism, but they are all around great guys to talk to. They gained my trust off bat and I will always recommend to others.

Always responds quickly to help any clients I send his way, whether it is a quote for a fence, repairs, or just work needing done in general. As a realtor it’s nice having a dependable person to recommend that can do it all & get it done right.

Payton and his team are very professional and delivery on all promises, with great pricing. It’s nice to have honest and hardworking people to rely on. Payton has even taken the time to help me with quotes, materials and quality on items I haven’t purchased! He is responsive and aligns what he can do for you with your dreams for your space!

Payton is amazing! I impulsively adopted a Dog, before I had a fence built. Another Contractor recommended Payton, because he was too busy. Luckily Payton was between jobs and came to the rescue. He shows up on time, does meticulous work and is a sincerely good guy. I will be having my Bathroom remolded in the near future. He'll have the job, for sure! He's the best......

Peyton and his crew did a great job adding new baseboard trim in our church sanctuary, and painting the trim and multiple interior doors. Did the job quickly, cleaned up after the work was complete, and stayed in touch throughout the process. Definitely would recommend and use them again.

We recently had the pleasure of working with Payton, and we couldn't be happier with the results. He built us a fence in our backyard and finished our basement and both look incredible! We were super impressed with his professionalism and the quality of his work. We highly recommend Payton for any project—you won’t be disappointed!
